Purple Pumpkin February

Well I finally managed to finish my layout for the Purple Pumpkin February Challenge....What do you think?

I used some of the tickets I purchased back in January, the gorgeous Big Owl button, the spotty pink button and some pink and white twine all from Purple Pumpkin, to embellish this layout! I used the twine to wrap around the organza ribbon that I cut and frayed to replicate the streamers on Bella's new Dora Bike.

Some of the other embellishments are from Handmade Halo and these are the gorgeous resin roses and the beautiful crystal flower. The doileys I dyed myself.

FEBRUARY

Hi there - just reminding you that you only have until midnight Wednesday night to get your entry in for the February blog challenge - you still have time to get to work!!!!!

JANUARY WINNER

I forgot to announce the winner for January - WHOOPS!!!! So on the weekend, I asked a very special lady (my mum) which layout she liked the most and best represented my sketch....Mum didn't know which layout belonged to which person and therefore, it was a totally independant vote.

This is the layout that Mum chose as the winner!

Congratulations Tracey! Your layout is simply stunning! So you are the January winner! As for the other four of you - I am going to send you a little something as well because I really appreciate your support and that you played along for January!

RETREAT

I have secured the dates for retreat - first email has been sent and sometime over the weekend coming up, I will be sending out the formal email and the payment plan options!! So who is excited? February Challenge!

This month, February, is the month of LOVE! So your layout is going to include:

• a photo of something or someone that you love


• at least one heart


• red as the predominant colour (other colours are fine - but red must be the main colour)


• some buttons (more than one!)


• journalling (if it is hidden, I need to see where - you can send me a photo that will not be published if you don't want it to)


• ribbon

Crazy in Love

I thought I would enter a layout in the Purple Pumpkin January Challenge! What do you think? The papers are Pretty Little Studio available at Handmade Halo as is the handmade lace flower (bottom), resin flowers and ticket. The remainder of the embellishments (except for the branch and butterfly - they are Kaiser) are all from Purple Pumpkin - the lace flower (top), twine, spotty button, little lace doiley and vinyl heart.

Classes for 2012

Hello everyone!

Just letting you know that classes for 2012 resume tomorrow! Class is from 5:30pm - 7:30pm and costs just $15 which includes the class and your papers required to complete the class! Bookings are essential and can be made via phone, sms or email!

Most class layouts can be created, and a photo or two, added later. All layouts are catered for landscape or portrait photos and can be used for photos of any topic!
