Purple Pumpkin September Sketch Challenge

Here is my layout for the Purple Pumpkin September Sketch Challenge! I had so much fun using all the gorgeous bits and pieces...the twine, the cloud button, the felt clouds and the new washi tape....I think I have a little bit of an addiction with 72 different tapes in my personal collection and more to come!

The pic is of my eldest girl, Dacynta (aka Felicity {don't ask!}) at the gorgeous Thompson's Beach at Victoria Point earlier this year.

Oh dear.....

Has it really been that long? No it can't have been? Seriously? Surely not....

Oh well, let's forget the past and move on forward! I have been super busy lately, but hopefully things will settle down a little bit and I can stick to the schedule that I have drawn up for myself to follow.

Stick 'n' Giggle has just recovered from yet another retreat YAY! It was so much fun! We went back to the gorgeous Shearwater Resort at Caloundra. 27 ladies (and 2 gents) joined me in what was to be a weekend of fun, giggles and laughs! The Saturday night was a total barrell of fun...we had our fancy dress night with the theme being animals (pics coming soon!) and we had our cent auction again this time raising funds for the RSPCA QLD! You will not believe it - we raised $710.00! I was over the moon. And when I went to deliver the cheque in person, I just had to play with some of the little surrended puppies...Miss Bella and my mummy came with me too! So much fun...

I have done a couple of layouts, but I can't share them just yet! You will have to wait another couple of days!

Well hello there.....

Well hello there.....
I know - what can I say - again, it has been a while.....
I have been super busy. Since last chatting, I joined the Ipswich Cavy Club and have been busy being a part of the business and promoting this new venture. Not to mention taking up the position of Secretary, Assistant Show Manager and PR officer!
Oh and I have been busy scrapping too! This one is for Purple Pumpkin! I love playing with buttons and doilies - who doesn't??? So what do you think?

The Emails have been sent!!!!

Whoo hoo! The emails for the Stick 'n' Giggle 2012 retreat have been sent out. If you have not yet received your email, please let me know as soon as possible and I will make sure one gets to you. The emails included the Registration Form and the payment plan for monthly, fortnightly and weekly payments.

So....does anyone have any ideas for the "theme night" on the Saturday night at retreat??? I have a couple in mind, but I would like to hear your thoughts!!!

Oh! and don't forget....you still have a couple of days to get your entries in for the March comp! I would like to see more than two entries this month - come on girls and guys!!!!

Guess what is on this Saturday!

The Handmade Expo - from 8am - 2pm at the Ipswich Turf Club, Brisbane Road Bundamba! Free entry and free parking and with over 100 stalls of handmade loveliness, who would want to miss it?

Stick 'n' Giggle will be there - hopefully with LOTS and LOTS of new stock.....as will my Mum (Felicity Flower) with some extra special Easter goodies - some new little chickens and big ones too and of course, all the old favourites - ellies and rarffies oh and of course the horsies! Did you see the pics on FaceBook? If not, go have a look see!

Purple Pumpkin February

Well I finally managed to finish my layout for the Purple Pumpkin February Challenge....What do you think?

I used some of the tickets I purchased back in January, the gorgeous Big Owl button, the spotty pink button and some pink and white twine all from Purple Pumpkin, to embellish this layout! I used the twine to wrap around the organza ribbon that I cut and frayed to replicate the streamers on Bella's new Dora Bike.

Some of the other embellishments are from Handmade Halo and these are the gorgeous resin roses and the beautiful crystal flower. The doileys I dyed myself.

JANUARY WINNER

I forgot to announce the winner for January - WHOOPS!!!! So on the weekend, I asked a very special lady (my mum) which layout she liked the most and best represented my sketch....Mum didn't know which layout belonged to which person and therefore, it was a totally independant vote.

This is the layout that Mum chose as the winner!

Congratulations Tracey! Your layout is simply stunning! So you are the January winner! As for the other four of you - I am going to send you a little something as well because I really appreciate your support and that you played along for January!

RETREAT

I have secured the dates for retreat - first email has been sent and sometime over the weekend coming up, I will be sending out the formal email and the payment plan options!! So who is excited? February Challenge!

This month, February, is the month of LOVE! So your layout is going to include:

• a photo of something or someone that you love


• at least one heart


• red as the predominant colour (other colours are fine - but red must be the main colour)


• some buttons (more than one!)


• journalling (if it is hidden, I need to see where - you can send me a photo that will not be published if you don't want it to)


• ribbon
