News.....

Well I know I said in the last post that I would be back soon with some exciting news to share....well I still can't share with you just yet. Hopefully by the end of the month I will have something concrete to be able to share...

The gorgeous Kym called in to see me today and I had the pleasure of meeting her two beautiful and well mannered boys and her hubby too - who was equally as nice and I also got to see Barb too! It was a nice suprise for a Monday!

I was going to post some of my recent layouts and then I realised that I haven't even photographed them so I can't just yet....maybe tomorrow night - will see how I go! But here are some layouts that I did not too long ago!

Thursday, 9 April 2009

yeah I know....I said a post a week....well I have a good excuse - I have been so sick since retreat that I haven't even unpacked yet....everything is still a mess but I am starting to feel a little better and I am hoping to come home tomorrow after lunch with the family and get stuck into it and have it all done - NEW stock and all....

Well I have to rub it in too - My retreat was FANTASTIC!!!! I had a ball and I am pretty sure that about 99% of the attendees would say the same. Check out some of the photos that were taken on the Saturday night - our 1920's style fancy dress with dinner in the main house!!!!!!

The simply elegant Jodi (goddessjodi)!!!!

And here is Rondelle, Shazz, Jodi, Barb and Kym!!!!

And Nee and Coralie!!!!

Here is my Mummy (Karen) and I - aren't we just stunning????? (well Mum is anyways hehehehe)

And here is all of us! This photo was taken at the front of the Main Mansion.

Such happy times....but then there is some very sad news too....Some very good long time family friends of ours lost their only son last week. I am still finding it very hard to deal with and can't imagine how they both must be feeling right now, as he was just the same age as Shannon - such a horrible loss of life for someone so young and who had so much living to do. RIP Aaron you will be eternally missed xx

Well that is it from me tonight - I absolutely promise that I will be back soon to share some more exciting news!!!!!

Wednesday, 25 March 2009

Yeah I know.....it has been quite some time since I have been in here and posted some of my pages and shared some news with you......

Here are three of my most favourite ones that I have done recently....the first was for Stuck!Sketches the second was just me playing around at a Stick 'n' Giggle crop night and the last was for a challenge at ScrapLounge - which I won I have to tell you! I just love the picture of my mummy!!!!!

I have a fair bit of news to tell too! Cinta and Mitch moved back in at home - so yes - we are packed to the rafters! But I so love having her here too. They are living in the garage and have it set up like their own little house - which still looks like an Ikea catalogue!!!

There was a massive accident right outside my front door on Sunday just gone - the car involved hit a car turning into my street and then hit Mitch's van that was parked on the roadside and pushed it about 30 metres up the road even with the handbrake on.

It was a huge mess that took over three hours to clean up !!! Still waiting to hear the final outcome of this one!!!!!
Stick 'n' Giggle is having the retreat this weekend - so with just 2 more sleeps to go - I am going to be a busy little bee! I can't wait though! There are 27 of us heading on up to Woodlands of Marburg - with people coming as far as the ACT, Melbourne, Townsville, Chinchilla and from all over the place!!!!! It is going to be great!
Last bit of news!!!!! I PROMISE that I will make at least a post a week from now on! I am hoping for a post a day but that might be a little bit too much to ask for - so a post a week (at least) it will be!

Guess what!!!!

You would not believe what has happened to me!!!! Last week I was checking through my emails when I noticed one from Scrapbook Creations...thinking it was another rejection email I opened it - guess what it said "we love your layout can we publish you???" OMGosh - I am still in total disbelief.....danced around the house for a bit then went back to the computer to continue reading and sorting through what was there...then I saw it - another email from Scrapbook Creations....this one listed not one - but two (YEP TWO) layouts that it wants to publish!!! WHOOOOOO HOOOOO!!!! So - I will have 3 layouts in issue 64 of Scrapbook Creations!!!! YEAH!!!!!!
